[Tencent Aurora 5x] [S928X] AV1 HW decoding

Hello! I tried some AV1 videos on this device and it is practically unusable. My other devices with S905X4 plays AV1 files perfectly fine. Is there any fix for this?

Details:
STB Brand: Tencent
STB Model: Aurora 5X
STB SoC: S928X
STB Memory: 4G/64G

Display type: LED TV, Xiaomi S65

Thank you for the link, I did come investigation,

Download latest nightly build (CoreELEC-Amlogic-ne.aarch64-21.2-Omega_nightly_20250526-Generic.img), the problem still exists.

I also found that there are files which plays without any issues (at least I didn’t notice any)

Try with CE-NO. CE-NG and CE-NE are EOL!

OK, thank you. I used what was latest on the Download page

CE-NO complains that it will not play DV because factory firmware needs to be updated to 5.15. Is there a workaround for this? Because now I have to choose between DV and AV1 :sob:
