The best advanced settings?

hello together

i am a proud owner of an odroid n2 since today :slight_smile: thank you all for using it, CoreELEC is the hammer!

i have created an advanced settings i found here:

<advancedsettings>
<cache>
<buffermode>1</buffermode>
<memorysize>524880000</memorysize>
<readfactor>20</readfactor>
</cache>
</advancedsettings>

Are the values good? I have the Odroid with 4 GB Ram.

I have not used this in Kodi for at least three years when internet connections were worse and streaming sources too, in CoreELEC I have never used it and I think it is not necessary. If the streaming source is bad then there is no advancedsettings setting to fix it.

kodi.wiki says this: "The advancedsettings.xml file, which does not exist by default, can be created by a user in their userdata folder. This file is used for advanced settings and options that do not have GUI controls inside of Kodi … . "

There is no need for the advancedsettings.xml. The N2 is fast enough. If you have problems with stutter you need a faster storage or internet connection :slight_smile:

By the way… " CoreELEC is the hammer!" … you are german, right? :smiley:
