Ugoos AM6 Plus CEC started working again

With today’s update (19.4-Matrix_rc2) I noticed spurious “bouncing” when I pressed keys on my receiver’s remote. After configuring my receiver’s remote control manually, I never bothered to actively disable CEC since it hadn’t worked anyway. Turned out that CEC appears to work again and therefore remote commands were received twice.

UGOOS AM6 Plus fails to initialize CEC

Recently I received my new UGOOS AM6 Plus and got the impression that CEC doesn’t work as smoothly as with did for years with my previous Z69 (S905X). My setup is that both, box and TV, are connected to the AV receiver. Sometimes it appears that the UGOOS loses its connection, e.g. when the screen goes into sleep mode. Switching to a different input source and back doesn’t help, unless… that other input is my trusty Z69. In that case switching back to UGOOS brings CEC back to life on that box. …
