You can skip the Flirc and program your remote as Windows media remote / mce remote . After that use the keymap addon in kodi and make changes as you want

Could you please explain to me how to do this? I am using Harmony One Remote Software 7.7 to program the Logitech remote control. The Flirc dongle is located on the side of the device.
I’m only interested in the one command…everything else works fine.
If your remote is working in kodi go to addons and find keymap editor.

Then you can map any remote key to any window or function
