[Ugoos SK1] Player interface

Hello, I need help with CoreELEC. I installed it on a Ugoos SK1, CoreELEC (official) version 21.2-Omega_nightly_20250908 (Amlogic-ne.aarch64).
The problem is that in the player, during playback, the player interface and subtitles are displayed only in the top-left quarter of the screen. The video itself plays in 4K full screen.
The framebuffer in the Android settings of the device is set to 1920×1080.
What could be the cause of this issue?

Because you use a obsolete CE-NE build?

Use CE-NO!

CE-NO is built on an alpha state of kodi which isn’t ready for a daily use. It’s crashing more often than my 15 y.o. son is wankin. And it’s crashing for no reason. Nothing helpful in the logs.

Also a lot of good addons isn’t compatible and probably never will be.

Say whatever you want Portish but it’s truth.

And I know already you’re short with time to apply fixes you make for NO. Just saying what’s like.

Kodi 22 isn’t ready.

I chose to use CE-NE because it’s more stable than CE-NO.
Is there really no way to fix this problem on CE-NE?

Sure there is …… One way is that you start working on it.

I don’t have much experience with this. I tried to fix the problem using AI, but the only result I managed to get was a black screen when launching CoreELEC.

Been awhile since I used my Ugoos SK1, so thought I would give CoreELEC running in it another try. First off, with the newest Ugoos updated firmware, CE has major issues, including screen showing information in top left quarter of the window. . So, I reverted back to previous Ugoos firmware, same issue. Next I installed the Slimbox (Android 11) firmware, again same issue with screen info in the top left corner of the screen. I have tried several versions of CoreELEC and can’t get rid of that issue.

Latest version is CE-22 and there are no such issues. CE-21 is EOL.

Just don’t use Android firmware 2.x as it’s currently not supported.

Thank you that worked. I am running Slimbox (Android 11) at this time. Yesterday, I updated to Android 14 Ugoos SK1 Firmware v. 2.0.5, and all **** broke loose with CoreELEC…. I may try it again and see what happens….
