Usb devcie not shown in video source

Hello,

i want to add my USB Drives to video source but it doesnt show up, so i cant create an library.

i added the usb devices to favourites as workaround.

Any idea?

As far as I know USB drives show up as a source by default, but only if they’re attached (obviously) :face_with_raised_eyebrow: Is that not the case for you?

in the file manager and in the files menue its available
but not in the source to add videos…add video source and browse

You have to use one of the two methods I mentioned above to get stuff from it into the library (via the files menu and context menu scanning or via navigating to the mount point from the root of the OS and using that as the source folder).
