USB WiFi dongles/chipsets that are confirmed working with CoreELEC NO?

Hello,

I’ve been reading through the forum and I often see long discussions about USB WiFi chipsets that do not work with CoreELEC. Instead of going through many topics about incompatibilities, I would like to ask the community directly:

Could you please share which USB WiFi dongles (or chipsets) are currently known to work reliably with CoreELEC 22/NO?

It would be very helpful to have a short list of positive experiences, rather than only reports of what doesn’t work.

Thank you very much in advance for your help!

One that looks like this works on my CE on a few tv boxes I have plus my nucs and laptops.

I get them from ebay for about $10

Never had any issues with TP Link Products, current iam not using it on CoreELEC 22.

Most important is to check specs/compatibility with Linux kernel 3.10 and up

If you don’t read that then is only good for windows

Is there a reason why would use wifi dongle instead of on board chipset,

Maybe for SBC is more common

Some TV boxes only have max 100Mb Ethernet .

In my experience some boxes as well don’t work well on wifi and CE but a dongle fixes that.

An H96 I have has onboard wifi but only 100Mb. Dongle raised that to 300Mb.

I have gigabit wired ethernet for all boxes, except the HK1 that it is the Garage (Man Cave)!!

It is only gets a 60% signal at most and is fine with 100mb for most/all playback.

Of course no UHD 4k, the TV is only 1080p SDR anyway.

I would recommend TP Link Products
