Yes, I did a clean install. Theoretically it’s possible that the cable is causing it. I’ll buy a new one and let you know.
Another thing I noticed is that the problem with the EPG has finally been solved. On versions 19,20,21 the problem was that when switching categories in the EPG the system sometimes thought (the ring spin around). In 22 it doesn’t do that anymore. Thanks.
Idea for a new feature: You probably know the situation when you watch TV at night and someone in the room wants to sleep. A feature (with one click) to dim the screen so that it doesn’t shine too much but you can still watch TV would help.
Yes, but it would help if it was a built-in function. I wouldn’t have to change the TV settings. For example, make it so that the dim function would have the ability to dim the screen even while the TV is playing.
And it could be easily activated with one click. In my opinion, it would be easier than changing the TV settings. And certainly useful.
For audio player there’s already a dim feature in the estuary mod V2 skin. Not a skinner, but I would say it would also be doable for the video player. We could ask the maintainer what he thinks..
/Edit forgot that this skin is not yet adapted to Piers, I am using Omega in the bedroom for this reason
I use the standard version of Estuary which I modified according to my own wishes (it is oriented towards watching TV)
I could imagine that function being assigned a key on the keyboard, so that the remote control could be easily programmed and switching to night mode would be easy.
