I switched to amremote because my remote works better than with ir-keytable. Ony problem is in an own application which cannot read the ir commands from /dev/input/event5 but needs lirc. My idea was to use eventlircd to send the commands to the lirc device. I started eventlircd but it didn’t work. Maybe it misses the events because of a missing udev rule? How cam I configure eventlircd manually? And how do enable it at boot, although it is by default not started when there is a remote.conf? I couldn’t find a systemd service.
