Widget not updating

Hi all,

N2, CE 19.2

I’ve noticed that the TV Shows and Movie Widgets are not updating when new items have been added. eg: This morning I added the TV Series Maid and it did not appear in the Widget:

However it is in the Category Recently added:

Any ideas why the update is not happening in the Widget?

Update to CE-19 Matrix and try again.

Aren’t I already on that version. Log states:

Oh, i was reading 9.2…

Please try again with Kodi nightly or 19.2 (not yet released?) on Windows or Linux and see if it works.

Sorry don’t understand. Log says:

Starting Kodi (19.2 (19.2.0)

you need to wait for Kodi 19.2:

Or you try last Kodi nightly on Windows or better Linux platform.

You did not say but I’m assuming this is a know issue with the present version of Kodi?

I think Portisch is saying that we need a comparison to see if it’s Kodi or CE’s problem.

Just installed Win10 on a VM and installed Kodi 19.2:

Both CE and windows Kodi are doing the same thing. I did notice that if the widget was empty it would not update when a new item is added (Movie or TV Show) until Kodi was restarted. This happened on CE and Windows.

If something is already in the widget and a new item (Movie or TV Show) is added both updated as they should.

If this happen on Windows to please open a issue at XBMC GitHub including the log of the Windows version as you will get no support with the CE version at XBMC GitHub, thank you.
