X96 MAX 4G+64G BT bug
Installed nightly dated 2019/10/7 on my X96 Max (S905X2 , 4g/64g) using g12a_s905x2_4g_1gbit.dtb.

Boot: OK
Ethernet: ok
Audio: OK
Remote: ok
Playback: Mostly OK
WIFI : ok

Bluetooth: doesn’t work

WiFi chip RTL 8822BS is in x96 Max 4G/64G (RTL8822BS,),
I need Bluetooth. Can the Firmware for this Bluetooth chip be included in the next update?

I also have a x96 max 4 / 64GB, but Bluetooth works for me.

Any feedback after 2 wks.

This is the easiest box for me to get in Australia after my X96 Mini stopped responding.
From what I can tell the cheaper 2/16 box is 100 ethernet only and only 2.4Ghz Wifi-n
You need the 4/32 + 4/64 for Gigabit, 5Ghz AC, and BT.

Did meson-IR remote work out of the box??

May i know which version is that? I have same chipset but mine doesn’t work at all.

Hi, i have the same problem with my X96 Max Plus Ultra S905X4 4G 64G 100M, BT is not working.

I just did a fresh install of CoreELEC 20.1 -ne on this device: Page Not Found - Aliexpress.com. I think that’s the same you have. Now I’m surprised to see that it says “No Bluetooth adapter found”. Did you find a solution?
EDIT: mine says it has 1G ehternet

Hi, it seems that no real driver source exists for the BT of this box. See : Looking for users with no working WiFi or BT - #707 by Coreelec-33
I plugged a dongle TP-Link UB400 that works with CE NG.
