Xbox tuner, s905 and CE 9.2.7

Hello

I tried to use old s905 box as set to box form old people (it is no worth to buy new tv to recipt dvb-t2).
I’m using above config but module supporting tuner does not come up:

That is all I got in dmesg, lsusb shows it detected correctly but I don’t get firmware and proper kernel module loaded.

Looking at forum I see that in the past it was necessary to install add on which includes kernel modules - I have not find any in this release.

Anything else I should try?

EDIT: There is no add on:
dvb latest driver addon in CE repository.

No, in 9.2.7 you have an addon with Coreelec DVB drivers. There choose drivers from latest kernel, reboot and the tuner will work. I have one of those.

Can you give me a path to this add on? I don’t see it and CE does not search it up.

there isn’t in services also nothing.

Just look in the initial CoreELEC page. Scroll down to addons, then you have one line where the Programs Addons are. One of them is DVB modules.

Thank You! The drivers from latest kernel seems to work. Only issue is that you can’t plug the tuner during boot as the driver will not be loaded. You need to unplug and plug again. Neet to sort it out with Udev rules maybe.
