I went back and re read most of this thread again .After the initial Boot CoreELEC, you dont need Developer Options enabled at all.and is probably easier to use terminal instead of Reboot to CoreELEC APK .
i went with the U-Green USB Ethernet Hub 3 port, with USB C power port if needed.
Works Excellent
