I have a GT King II running the latest nightly build of NE.

I ran the speedtest:
curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/sivel/speedtest-cli/master/speedtest.py | python -

My Internet is supposed to be 600 Mbit down, and 100 Mbit up. I usually get a little more than what they claim.

My results were:
Download: 654.36 Mbit/s
Upload: 128.25 Mbit/s

Did any of you update your Android Firmware before installing your Coreelec? Does that matter if you are solely Coreelec on the eMMC? I’m out of ideas as to why the one device side by side using verified working cables can do speeds over 100 and why my GT King II hasn’t be able to go over 100.

If there is update for Android just do it.

After receiving my GT King II, I didn’t update Android at all. I ran CE on SD card till the script was working to move the OS to the emmc.

Is it possible that different GT King II production batches use different WiFi chips? Or is the WiFi built into the Soc on the A311D2? I have no idea, it was just a thought I had.

Have you checked a different computer/device on the same cable as your GT King to be 100% sure it’s not your networking cable or a faulty switch/router port that cable is plugged into?

Yes I have. That is what is bugging me. Same 1Gb port, same wire, same testing methods. One can do it and my GT King II will not. I feel like I should reinstall maybe or my device is defective.

Update and try the droid part with the software here.

Installed NE straight to emmc at first boot, transferring files using FTP over 300Mbit/s

Those of you who are reaching speeds over 100; is the light at the eth0 port on your GT King II Amber/Orange or Green?

I downloaded this, but I don’t think I can use it. I installed Coreelec to eMMC single boot. Android is gone.

I think mine flashes amber on activity.

Not ideal but had to upgrade the Wifi Antenna on the Vim4 from those little ones to these very large ones. Speed increase from 100Mbp/s to 160Mbp/s.

Why you not re instal Android on Beelink GT king 2 ? So you Can test all…

I have test my GT king 2 with CE on sd card ,then on emmc …the only thing how not work like it must is the bluetooth with headphone, bluetooth signal only very short distance…( I Hope team CE. take a look at it …) .
Now i have re instal Android since 4/5 days …for test a littel bit the Android version…and then i return to ce…

My ISP is buggy. After going into my modem and flipping off and on that port’s duplex half / full; my GT King II decided to play nice and is showing me the speeds I pay for.

hi,
I have a cheap box with SOC s905w2 with 2G/16G, exactly that is LTC LX Box 042. NE booted up and works. Unfortunately, the box cannot play any audio/video file.

@Secam7 please dump the android dtb and share with us:
https://wiki.coreelec.org/coreelec:devicetree#coreelec_booted_from_external_media

Or is there a Android image to download for your device?

I was able to extract dtb from emmc memory. It’s multidtb file, for 1G,2G and 4G ram.
I attach the file for the 2G version. I will ask the seller if the firmware for this box is available.

w21s4-s905w2-2g.dtb (71.0 KB)

please share complete multiDTB as we have only sources for 1g

Raw file from emmc memory.

s905wmulti.dtb (218 KB)

Please try and make a new dmesg with this dtb:
