Amlogic-ne, New Era

Tested the VNC and works as it should.

Try to uninstall addon with settings removed, and installing it again.

Thank you for the reply. I have done it, I have left everything by default, but after the first restart it stops working and returns a message indicating that the destination computer expressly denied the connection

Two DVB-T Tuners work here - using TVH server and client.
Afatech AF9013 DVB-T
Realtech RTL2832U DVB-T

All good! Great work!

Wow, amazing.
MyGica T230A works after update from @smp.
Thank you very much!

By the help of the user @smp DVB should start working with next nightly 20221231.
There is no need and support of cracycat or dvb-latest anymore in Amlogic-ne.
If someone get a tuner not working please provide lsusb and if available a dmesg | paste from a Amlogic-ng device where the tuner is working.

TBS devices would not work as there are no drivers in mainline/amlogic kernel.
I will try to add TBS 5520SE driver at some point because it is quite popular and I own one myself.

I don’t know if it will help. Here, TBS5520SE has drivers arranged in different versions for Libreelec.

For some reason the service is not working, even though the symlink was created in the right place: /storage/.config/system.d/kodi.target.wants
For it to work I had to insert this line in /storage/.config/autostart.sh:
(sh /storage/.kodi/addons/service.aml-vnc/bin/aml-vnc.start)&
Of course, if I leave the authentication activated, it does not work with the default pass (coreelec), nor with any other that is assigned to it.

I don’t know what is going on in your case. For me it worked as it should with multiple tests and reboot between.
You should check with journalctl if there is anything vnc related (without autostart.sh workaround):

journalctl -l --no-pager

Regarding authentication: from what I see in the vnc code password authentication never worked. And it can’t.

I’ve double-checked it, but nothing shows up for aml-vnc. I’ll keep digging, to see if I can contribute something useful.

Hello , i have a problem
I just try to instal on brand New Beelink GT king 2…i build thé sd card (64go Samsung) with rufus copie the Beelink GT king 2 dtb.img file on the sd card from the folder … renaming it as dtb.img …try to start on the card by poushing the pin on the back from the box + connect ac adapter… waiting coreelec logo…the device dont boot on coreelec ,no logo apears , Always boot on Android ,same with USB 2/3 …its my first Beelink (old minix user) …what did i make wrong ? Did you find the solution for make work with sd card or usb stick ? I have exactly the same probleme …

  • Copy the device tree from the device tree folder on the µSD card to the root of the µSD Card

  • Rename the device tree dtb to dtb.img

  • Insert the µSD Card into the devices µSD slot

  • Boot the device using the terminal or Android APK method

Thanks a lot ,it work , i use Android apk …:smiling_face_with_three_hearts: :ok_hand:
