Amlogic-no Discussion

You used a USB device?
I have similar issues on BuzzTV HD5 but I have no idea what is wrong yet.

Tried it now, but not works:

Yes, USB device

I have this mount problem with a 64 GB SD card but not with a 32 GB SD card.
If I free the USB ports on the device, there is no mount problem with a 64 GB SD card.
If I want to run it through the USB port it boots without any problems.
I am currently running it with a 32 GB SD card without any problems.
My device: GT KİNG II

Same issue with latest build , sd card in a usb holder. Similar s905x3 4gb

How to make clear install CoreELEC 20.3 Amlogic-no on Odroid-N2 while on download page Releases · CoreELEC/CoreELEC · GitHub it is available CoreELEC-Amlogic-ng.arm-20.3-Nexus-Odroid_N2.img.gz to download only.
Its not clear at least to me.
Also I did “in-place” update from 20.2 to 20.3 and there is no issues so why clear install is needed?

Clean install with Amlogic-no

Did you understand what I have written?
Show me where is Amlogic-no version for Odroid-N2.

https://relkai.coreelec.org/?dir=Amlogic-no/ce-21

OK, but it is nightly build.
I was referring to “official” builds here: Releases · CoreELEC/CoreELEC · GitHub
Its kind of mess introduced I’m afraid.
I will stick to the official releases.

You are in the wrong thread, pls read the first posts

Happy 20.3 user here but I thought I’d take another look at NO on N2 2GB version. Using nightly 20240110, I can’t get audio output from the 3.5mm jack. I have audio set to PCM. Apologies if this is already mentioned in the thread - I’ve been lazy and haven’t read it all.

Other than that, I’m impressed by this and delighted that this will extend the life of my N2.

Edit: Apologies to @Portisch because I see I’ve flirted with this before. I claim age related forgetfulness. What I say about the latest nightly is true tho.

Edit 2: Solved with nightly 20240118. Thank you.

Latest nightly killed my Minix remote, completely non-responsive.

/Edit lsusb shows nothing

Just tested this version on X96Max+:
CoreELEC-Amlogic-no.aarch64-21.0-Omega_nightly_20240118-Generic.img.gz
with device_trees: sm1_s905x3_4g_1gbit and sm1_s905x3_4g.dtb

in both cases no boot.
Then tested with older device tree: here the start logo freezes

Same here with latest nightly on C4. HK boot Logo keeps popping up :-/
Tried several SD cards that work fine when trying 20.x

I got a no name S905x3 box. Bqeel Y8 max to be exact. Works fine with 20.3 ng. I can confirm trouble with this nightly. With 2024-01-18 nightly my box doesn’t boot. Tried with the nightly 2023-12-15 (because that’s the only one Omega nightly prior I got). My box boots normally, I make the initial setup. Update notification pops up. As soon as the update gets installed, the following boot my TV goes black, shows no signal. No ssh, no SMB, therefore no logs. Tried several SD cards.

mee too
can confirm that latest generic no nightly
boot over S905W2 H96MAX
like ne there is no wifi and no bt
but i’m so excited
thank’s very much for your hard work
