Film stutters mainly when text (srt) is used, but also a little without srt.
I’ll try to explain what I’ve noticed with the movie stuttering problem.
I’m using nightly 22-no on N2+ and U22XJ, and have tested almost all versions since July and the film stuttering is still there.
(I am not an expert in English, but will try to make myself understood.)
The movie stutters when amcodec is on and regardless of the resolution and frame rate I use.
Interestingly, the problem with the film stuttering disappears completely when some form of overlay is used, e.g. logging=on or simply when playback control is in picture, then there is no stutter at all, but as soon as only the film is visible, it stutters.
Would be nice if others can test and confirm this.
I have searched the whole forum for description of this phenomenon.
I don’t usually see these problems with CE 19-21.
