Maybe you try Linux or Windows Kodi 22 with your plugin.video.iplayerwww.
We are not able to fix your issue with third party addons, especially if they use inputstream.adaptive.
Test a local media file, there we might can help.
For you dtb.xml: there is a wrong node wol node inside.
Just delete whole dtb.xml and on next boot it will be created itself again.
Deleted the dtb.xml and then set up 2 local videos. In the log first is with hardware acceleration off (I ran the 2nd file twice by mistake). They play.
Since I ran into the problem of no video playing on N2 2GB if hardware acceleration is on, Iāve been viewing with it off on this device and on N2+ 4GB. Iām not a 4k user.
Iāve had no problems at all and I have to say that slight playback judder I noticed on some videos (on N2+ 4GB) isnāt there with acceleration off. The difference is subtle but I see it every time.
Iām posting to flag this up in case other users have the same experience and wish to comment.
Film stutters mainly when text (srt) is used, but also a little without srt.
Iāll try to explain what Iāve noticed with the movie stuttering problem.
Iām using nightly 22-no on N2+ and U22XJ, and have tested almost all versions since July and the film stuttering is still there.
(I am not an expert in English, but will try to make myself understood.)
The movie stutters when amcodec is on and regardless of the resolution and frame rate I use.
Interestingly, the problem with the film stuttering disappears completely when some form of overlay is used, e.g. logging=on or simply when playback control is in picture, then there is no stutter at all, but as soon as only the film is visible, it stutters.
Would be nice if others can test and confirm this.
I have searched the whole forum for description of this phenomenon.
I donāt usually see these problems with CE 19-21.
Sorry but my results with the amended dtb are more mixed than @RowanCE 's. I might have messed up if the dtb file is specific to the nightly version because I have updated from the nightly of 22nd that I reported on.
Anyhow, on the clean version I created for reporting, on first boot with the new dtb itās working but only after some strange behaviour when the remote seemed not to be working for some time. This resolved itself and the 2 local videos play with acceleration on.
If I apply the new dtb to my main setup itās a different story. It boots to the kodi screen but the remote doesnāt work and I canāt select any options. When I examine the sd card, the dtb.xml has not been created. Copying the original dtb back brings things back to working (without accelaration).
Iām confused now and inclined to give up because I like the unaccelerated video and the 2GB N2 seems to be a rarity amongst users.
Maybe unrelated but I had some remote strangeness tooā¦ after playing a video, if I enter the SETTINGS screen then press left or right before the background image had loaded, everything locks up. Being fairly reproducible, I tried twice to capture it in logs but was finding no log timestamps around the time of my actions. Will try again. But otherwise, N2 working fine for me with Portischās supplied DTB. 24 and 26 nightlies tried IIRC.
After the Ugoos AM8 android version 1.3.8 update, videos are not working in the CoreELEC system. AM8 needs to be reset to factory settings to work properly again.
Our friends have 4 AM8s, all of them had the same problem with the 1.3.8 update and we did a factory reset.
This error is only available in CE no version.
This error does not exist in CE ne version.
Unfortunately, overclocking has no longer worked since Coreelec No (Kodi22). As usual, I entered this data in the config.ini:
Max_freq_a73 = 2400 and Max_freq_a53 = 2016
The overtake does not work anymore, what do I do wrong?
