Why do I lose the HDMI signal when I play a Dolby Vision movie, even though I installed dovi.ko correctly My device is a Homatics Box R 4K Plus.

Nightly builds (NEW)

The CE21-ne nightlies at least since 20241128 are skipping frames randomly on my AM8 Pro. I’ve tried to catch the issue in a debug log but it seems they rarely if ever appear when there is some menu like the CPU usage or player debug info displayed on the screen. I just tried the latest nightly without debugging enabled and it worked until I put the player debug output on and then off. Almost instantly skipping here and there. How could I try to help in tracing this? I know I’m not the only on…

I attached the debug log where I experienced this loss of HDMI signal when playing a Dolby Vision file.

But the funny thing is, when I enable debug logging, the frame skipping issue disappears.
