Amlogic-NO discussion

Solved? I went to Kodi and couldn’t find anything on the forums. Is there a better or more appropriate place to search?

How solved?

This build on my box with the w1-aml driver still doesn’t work.

Thanks for the test build.
The w1-aml WiFi adapter is not detected with this test build too.
The last nightly it was working correctly is
CoreELEC-Amlogic-no.aarch64-22.0-Piers_nightly_20250821.tar
Reverting back to this version brings the Wi-Fi back

And nobody is able to make a log? How we should be able to fix it?

The solution, as best as I can read is to use the latest nightly of kodi. I don’t have the skill (or talent) to build CE with the latest kodi nightly. Is it simply build kodi the install onto the CE medium? Seems tricky with the android kernel and all. But maybe its moved to the linux kernel?

Okay here is the logs with the test build

Here is the log from the last working nightly

Please let me know if you want me to run any additional commands. Thanks @Portisch

From what I could see, in the latest code w1-aml and w2-aml drivers are using the same namespace and clashing

[    8.887134] w1_sdio->
[ 8.887138] *****************aml sdio common driver is insmoded********************
[ 8.887143] aml_w1_sdio_insmod(1386) start...
[ 8.891654] w2_comm: exports duplicate symbol host_resume_req (owned by aml_sdio)

Please try and make logs again with this build:

Not on my Tox3 S905 but im happy with ethernet as its faster.
I have a 2nd box and I will try and see if I can work out a log if it does the same.

Nice. Hopefully, that’ll be in the next nightly which will fix my nowifi woes there with my device and I can update to no!!

Yes WiFi works fine on the X96Max+ Ultra with the latest nightly

hello there. i tried CE-NO on a stick with my am6b+ (CE-NG on emmc). i haven’t tried to install it on eMMC, but it seems there is no option in the CE services tab for eMMC speed mode (HS200, HS400)
is that no feature on CE-NO?

If its on stick it’s stick speed not emmc
Is there hs400 with NO branch? No idea…

when i use CE-NG on a stick, there is still the option for HS200, HS400
of course you switch to HS400, if you install on emmc
but with CE-NO there is this option missing in the coreelec options
do i miss something?
