Could you help me figure out why the box is behaving like this?
I think it is because of the kernel.
The CE22 NO alpha1 works good.
The nigthlys from the summer are also good.
CE19 is good.
When I restart the box from the menu, it immediately switches to 60Hz.
But after restart the menu shows 50hz. So it is perfect. But it is strange at first sight.
But when I turn on the box with remote controller, and the system boots up, it switches to 60Hz again. (I need 50Hz)
I have a Tanix W2 box (s905w2), and since changing the kernel to 5.15.170,
the box has been stuck in a boot loop.
Here are the logs from the UART port: boot-s905w2-CENO - Pastebin.com
It works fine on the nightly version 20250903.
Please downgrade again before 5.15.170. I think last version was 20250904.
Then enable tmate session and leave the device running and connected to the internet.
Also disable automatic update in CE settings as otherwise it will update to last nightly again.
We will then try and search what will cause this issue.

EDIT:
I see it’s already working on the new kernel version 5.15.170.
I’ve connected it with an Ethernet cable now, it shouldn’t disappear.
Really liking the new HDR to DV option but it occasionally results in an extremely washed out display that persists even when stopping the video, a reboot is required to get the display back to normal.
This is on a Homatics box r 4k plus on the 20251108 build.
Yeah…I dont recommend using that. If you want to watch DV stuff, then watch DV. Forcing DV on something is not a good idea and you get the results you see
Yes ,have seen the same on X96X10 Pro, occasionally, Playback a Dolby Vision file for a few seconds, seems to refresh EDID,UI,so noneed to power cycle the Box
Every now and then when I play a 4k file on my X96 X10, it comes up in 1080p, but only showing the top-left quarter of the 4k screen.
It’s weird, even the kodi info overlays, (I use confluence theme so the timeline is at the bottom of the screen) are cut off the screen although I can see the dimming at the top.
It’s always resolved by a reboot, or sometimes by playing another video file to “reset” the HDMI resolution.
Hi, I have a GT-King 922x device and have been having Wi-Fi problems for a few weeks. After starting up, the Wi-Fi connection drops. When I reconnect, it stays active. There’s no problem with the wired connection. Does anyone know a solution?
