What does VideoInfoScanner: Finished scan. Scanning for video info took 74694 ms mean?
Broken CE boot media?
75 seconds to scan a file is not normal. Try again with fresh boot media. Make back and new install on new media, then restore backup there.
I removed the mount and readded, same problem
Take a look at player debug like @Portisch asked. Not at home today so canāt do it right now.
So I put the file on a USB device and played it off that, it played fine but the subs were off, so went back to mount and used a different subtitle and the freeze was gone. a problem with ASS subtitles?

Is it possible to pick out a few things that make sense to you? Some of them donāt sound too bad. These commits can be picked without any merge conflict.

is the LAV Audio A/V sync in the current nightly?
Havenāt used ASS subtitles for a long time. Where do I put the font files? Is it userdata\media\Fonts or userdata\Fonts?
Put them in folder .kodi/media/Fonts.
