Installation of 20250107.img on eMMC does also not work with this dtb.img
Maybe rev.a do require more stuff to be changed, tomorrow.
Thnx, no rush.
Please try this with Odroid N2 rev.a:
g12b_s922x_odroid_n2.dtb (58.9 KB)
Does not work, rebooted 3 times before I stopped UART the log.
@Tim_Taylor @Sholander please test this dtb for rev.a:
g12b_s922x_odroid_n2_rev_a.dtb (74.5 KB)
Bingo This version works; installed nightly, did initial setup, reboot, cold boot, all works without any glitch. Did not test further, but expect itâll work the same as for others.
Installation UART log
Thanks @Portisch but HDR 10+ does not work yet.
In todayâs nightly I get HDR10+. X96X10 device
Done, installation works using Your dtb + CoreELEC-Amlogic-no.aarch64-22.0-Piers_nightly_20250108-Odroid_N2 on SD card and USB stick
N2: rev a
Petitboot: spiboot-20220317
I found one of my first N2âs (rev a) and tested latest nightly (08-01).
First boot with included dtb fails. Replaced dtb with the one you provide here (
g12b_s922x_odroid_n2_rev_a.dtb), that one boots and reboots without issues! (I only use eMMC, nothing else)
The rev a dtb works for me too on a 2GB N2. I couldnât contribute as this went on as I donât have UART so Itâs a big thank you to those who have and to @Portisch.
I will prepare some test dtbs for rev.a tomorrow to really identify the cause.
Can confirm HDR10+ working fine for me. Thanks.
So here some N2 rev.a DTBs to test please:
g12b_s922x_odroid_n2_rev_a_v1.dtb (74.8 KB)
g12b_s922x_odroid_n2_rev_a_v2.dtb (74.8 KB)
g12b_s922x_odroid_n2_rev_a_v3.dtb (74.8 KB)
Additional:
g12b_s922x_odroid_n2_rev_a_v4.dtb (74.8 KB)
Please just report which one is working on N2 rev.a.
Itâs only rev.a in the DTB but it should also boot fine on rev.b, at least it is here.
So there is no harm when trying on rev.b N2.
My N2 is booting up with all three versions
Thx, I added a v4 above. Please try this as well.
Also works with version 4
All 3 boot for me too but ai had a lock up quite soon with v1. Incidentally, I noticed I couldnât get into CoreELEC configuration.
Off to test v4 now.
V4 also boots and I can get into CoreELEC configuration.
