Do you own a vontar x4? first I heard of it. I normally think of tox3 as a box to recommend for the best value but the vontar is a nice bit cheaper

perfect confused, most donāt care for DV or have external speakers so the Vontar x4 will be more than enough for most needs, thanks for sharing, Iād recommend that box in the future
Is there a difference in image quality in CoreElec between the S905X2, S905X3, S905X4, S922x, and S928X processors (without considering DV)?
Iām asking this because I felt like I had better image quality, especially better colors, when playing my videos with Android apps on a TV box with an S922X (and even some Realtek SoCs), rather than an S905X2 or X3.
But is it the same on CoreElec? Or does the SoC have no impact on image quality and colors?
The SOC should not affect the image quality at all. Most of them have identical hardware decoders for a codec. Think of a SOC as a lego set. Itās built from many different parts that are snapped together. The hardware decoder for a specific codec is usually the same across sets.

something is up with AliExpress, since the tariffs Iām not getting an extra charge for VAT. Iām shipping it to UK.

Probably Ali finally made the deal with UK to include VAT in their prices, same as is with EU. I always get āVAT included in the priceā when buying from them.

Can you or somebody exactly explain why i only can fully replace a disc based player with Ugoos AM6b+ and not the Dune Homeatics Box R 4k Plus?
Where did you get that wrong info? Both boxes can fully replace UHD-DV Disk player, since they both reproduce full FEL. Get full/correct info here
The S904X4 does not have the power to decode all media formats found on blu-ray discs (24fps VC1, Mpeg2, and 3D is currently broken).
Noticed this poll in several forums: Kodi, AVS, etc. Interesting results so far. Top choice not surprising, but looks like people still like Shield TV & Fire Cube.
