CE-22 NO: Looking for users with no working WiFi or BT

Driver for 0x4339 will be included with tomorrow nightly, so please also try tomorrow with a clean fresh install if WiFi is working now.

I did try to scan but no SSID was found. Not sure what is the case.

I hope no other devices do break WiFi with tomorrow update :crossed_fingers:t2:.

With clean install : Wifi & BT is OK

But WiFi can’t connect on boot

I have a shared MySQL DB, Kodi is bootlooping until I plug wired network :frowning:

The current driver does not work for 0x4339, will need to do more searching.

The driver used on CE-NG is very very old and far away from beeing compatible with 5.15 kernel…

OK. The driver in CE-NE (kernel 5.4.210) does work just fine with this box (I run CE-21 on the NE kernel regularly on this model). That’s still old, but not as old as NG.

Can you please boot with CE-NE once and make dmesg | paste? After it boot again CE-NO and ensure tmate is enabled again, thx.

https://paste.coreelec.org/CarlsonKirsty is from CE-NE. It booted and connected to wifi, no problem.

I can’t see any wifi, it won’t connect to my wifi either. My X96s doesn’t have an ethernet port.

last working version is 20250903

last tested version is 20251010 and stil not view any wifi. s905y2_4g

No log, no problem.

No wifi, no log…

Log from 20250903 / last working version (wifi) for me

Get a spare usb and copy paste an autostart.sh script containing this

dmesg > dmesg.txt

And copy and paste the logs to your working system and upload it to pastebin or something

You can make a log this way I think .

Turn on logging in Kodi settings

In Corelec settings at the bottom you can make a running log and it gives you a web address to copy and paste into your post above.

That probably doesn’t work if you don’t have a connection but that’s another method…

There are issues with last nightly / 20251017. (removed) Edit: and replaced with some updates)

My Minix U22-XJ just updated to 20251018 nightly and wifi is gone. Blank screen in Connections.
Is this expected? I’ll try to get logs off somehow tomorrow.

Minix U22-XJ no more wifi - https://paste.coreelec.org/MindsHurts

You have g12b_s922x_minix_u22xj_rev_a while my one here is g12b_s922x_minix_u22xj_max where it works fine.
So you might connect ethernet and open tmate so we can take a look when we get time:

The 20251021 nightly build seems to have fixed the wifi issue with the 4339 chip on both an Rbox HK1 and Vontar X4 (they’re clones of each other). Wifi and BT are both working. Thanks!
