[Update: Check this thread for CE-NO Dolby Vision FEL] Dolby Vision (including FEL) is working in CE-NG 20.5+/21+ on any DV licensed devices including those with s905x2, s922x, s905x4 SOCs. So far confirmed working on: Homatics Box R Plus / Dune HD R Plus / Rocktek G2 / Nokia 8010 (s905x4-k) Dun…

Quick question? You are using Default Estuary Skin? ,Set to Expert?

Yep. Set to expert… gdam thanks to yada yada’s awesome work I am going to have to upgrade my TV and receiver!

I am struggling with a Homatics Box R 4K Plus. I am trying various builds and settings in the GUI but there’s a lot of frame freezes. Can you please share your config? Ref: Homatics Box R 4K Plus - #6111 by chaitanya2692

Using Homatics Box R 4K Plus with NG 21.3 + dovi.ko and I can display “This device can decode FEL” properly on FEL test videos, why it said Homatics does not support FEL?

Who does say this? It’s just not true. But only by CE-NG.

Here is the post which I can find, I remember much more but could not find for now: [image] FEL Support in CoreELEC General Summary:Amlogic SoCs with a -j or -k suffix running Amlogic-ng kernel 4.9 support P7 FEL. The S928X-J does not support FEL decoding beca…

Old info ( Mar 2024 ), some things change over time, that is what time can do

Indeed, that is what I thouhgt. Will it be enouhg to say it is fully working with those tiny test videos or should I download DV ISO to test FEL 7 ?

Hi, do you mean if I use a SDR only projector, it dose not support DV? I install NG 21.3 and copy dovi.ko in same directory with dtb.img. I can’t see DV options under Settings / System / CoreELEC, and no women see when I play test file.

Yes, if the projector EDID doesn’t report DV support, then no DV options are shown in CE settings.
