Ok so recently I upgraded my player to a Dune HD ProVision 4k
I have successfully loaded Coreelec onto and SD card and loading it successfully : current details are as follows
21.2-Omega_nightly_20251023 Linux version 4.9.269
I followed the Ronnie utube method ( the upload vid was 12 months old) to load it and included the yada yada dovi.ko file from this thread from March 2024 in the initial loading of Coreelec as per the ronnie instructions.
When I go to the Corelec video setting I donāt see the Dolby Vision options.
What have I done wrong?
Where do I need to check that the dovi.ko file is? and have I used the correct file?
Thanks for the reply the end display (after passthru a Maranzt SR 7010) is a Sony KD-75X8500C (which doesnāt have FEL). It has DV MEL, but not FEL but if the file is correct and in the right place I would still see it as MEL (not FEL) ā¦correct?
Ok cool. So if they donāt support it, I wonāt see the two options Disable Dolby Vision Support and Use player LED under Settings/System Coreelec (even though my instance of CoreElec might be set up correctly). Is that a correct statement?
You need to have both a compatible receiver and TV in the HDMI chain to see these Coreelec options?
I am struggling with a Homatics Box R 4K Plus. I am trying various builds and settings in the GUI but thereās a lot of frame freezes. Can you please share your config?

Using Homatics Box R 4K Plus with NG 21.3 + dovi.ko and I can display āThis device can decode FELā properly on FEL test videos, why it said Homatics does not support FEL?
Hi, do you mean if I use a SDR only projector, it dose not support DV? I install NG 21.3 and copy dovi.ko in same directory with dtb.img. I canāt see DV options under Settings / System / CoreELEC, and no women see when I play test file.
Bro, Iāve seen a lot of claims like this about the Dune or Normal Homatics Box R 4K Plus, but the thing isāit actually handles FEL perfectly. Iāve watched multiple Dolby Vision Profile 7 movies, even huge ones around 110 GB, and they played completely smooth. Just pair it with a good SSD like the Samsung T7 and it performs insanely fast. i played BDMV Files, all blu-ray Remuxes perfectly fine.
