Yup, I’m encountering the same issue fairly often. UI colors end up all messed up after finishing DV playback and I have to reboot.

I just bought a Cebox with S905X2-K 2gb+8gb from China second hand market Xianyu. It comes with CE and SlimboxTV installed and DV works great on CE.
Getting rid of my Homatics Box R 4K Plus as I find it buggy with CE.

Use as second Box in Bedroom/game room?
Test CoreELEC NO on Homatics, still have Dolby Vision, and with VS10 Engine /tone map HDR/SDR to Dolby Vision
I use smart switch to turn off Homatics by turning off the the power and every time i turn on the power to start CE, it will not start. I have to restart at least twice by unplugging the power. I also noticed that the picture and sound sync is slightly off. I need to adjust the 0.2sec to get it in sync. And also the android version is not Android TV so the Youtube app is not friendly for tv use.
I Cebox i bought comes with SlimboxTV Os and CE installed on emmc and i can easily switch between them. It’s just more friendly to use.
Recipe for disaster to cut power

100,s + user of Homatics, with not this issue?
Still is fine as second/first Box,maybe friend or family could use.
Maybe do some comparison test on Same Dolby Vision Display, before get rid of.
Also be caution ,with preloaded Box,can be issues if you want to update CoreELEC/flash latest SlimboxTV
In the homatics you have no atv version? That’s not possible.
Or you have fake box.

Been doing this with my previous android box running CE. Never had a problem. All these android box comes with emmc so ai don’t see any problem it cut power to it to turn it off

Then you have fake box. Homatics not exist with AOSP, just with ATV.
Not sure. Bought it from China. DV works with CE. Everything from box to remote looks legit
Make a photo from setting/firmware.

I’m a newbie, I have a GT King Pro, and I have tried to install CE on EMMC, connected the box with LG OLED A1PTA, the hardware report my TV has DV but I can’t see DV option in the setting, my box has 922X-H processor, have I lost something in setting? I coppied dovi.ko to storage in root folder by ssh, thank you so much for seeing and replying.

The letter extension specifies the additional licenses the SOC has:
-B : Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus
-H : Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS
-J : Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Vision
-K : Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS, Dolby Vision
