CoreELEC 19.1-Matrix (May 12th, 2021)
CoreELEC 19.1-Matrix is now available. It was a rather short development cycle this time around, which saw the CoreELEC developers focusing on fixing the most common issues reported with the 19.0-Matrix release.
Changes Since 19.0-Matrix
- Fixed issues with CEC on screensaver
- Fixed rare issue with some resolutions not being available
- Fixed a couple small update issues
- Updated dav1d to 0.8.2 (This provides best available software decoding of AV1 content)
- Improved inject_bl301 now supports more boot loader versions
- Improved handling of older devices for ceemmc
- Fixed some Bluetooth connection problems
- Fixed building CoreELEC on aarch64 docker platform
- Updated several packages
- ceemmc: fix bug by char/integer compare on old systems
- Add RTL8188FTV-aml wifi driver, thx to Stane1983
- Implemented Wifi driver QCA6174
- Implemented RTL8761B Bluetooth device
- Updated Wifi driver ssv6xxx-aml
- Implemented Wifi driver SSV6030P
- Add option for Khadas VIM3(l) to switch wired network interface from ‘default’ to ‘M.2 Slot’
- Fix LPCM with some AVRs and set the correct codec for DTS-HD
- Add an option to allow playing DTS-HD as LPCM
- CoreELEC-settings: add option to backup thumbnails
- Kodi: add option to disable DTS-HD Core fallback
- Added dt_id device specific option for dtb-xml
- H264: Let Kodi decide if 1080p25 should be handled as 1080i50 or not
- Fix flickering on stream start when using software decoder
- Include C.UTF-8 locale as default to avoid Python3 encoding issues
