But maybe for some reason factory_code is not the same anymore?

Problem problem to switch off the unit, it immediately reboots

pls help

Strange, working in 19.3 and not working in 19.4 after update without changing anything. Am I the only one still using amremote ?

I’m sure there are others including me. But you are the only one with this issue so far.

Disable CEC. Then it will be ok, had the same.

Hi support,
I have an issue that make a black screen when start and/or stop video, mainly UHD.
Other users have the same see here, this is NOT solved, only a workaround is to change the HDMI input in the AVR and go back to CoreElec player.
In the test I played jellyfish 180mbps, had the black screen then “no input” from the TV. At the end it came back fine to the menu. You will find it due to the same repeated log lines. Note I tried a static disp_cap but nothing better.
Find the log: hastebin
Let me know if you need more info/tests
Thanks

Did you try to set Use 4:2:2 colour subsampling setting and reboot?
https://wiki.coreelec.org/coreelec:kodi_ce_sys_settings

My Minix T5 will not boot after the Matrix RC 2 update or fresh install of 20220112 Nightly.

The update/fresh install both load as normal, with text on screen confirming things, however
on the reboot part, the machine cannot pass the white Minix logo and times out to create
a loop of failed boot after failed boot.

I then went through the nightly archive and confirmed builds post and including the
rc 2 release all carry the issue.

Builds before RC 2 all update/fresh install correctly, which includes the Legacy Leah
build on the Downloads page.

I am using the nightly 20220107 without issue.

The V20 nightlies do something a little different. The T5 cannot read the sd card at all
and it goes straight to the loop I mentioned.

Thanks in advance.

Minix neo t5. CoreELEC 19.4-Matrix_rc2
I have the same problem.

  • restart loop
TVBOX is not usable. Previous versions are ok.

Please use the search:

It’s confirmed working, no log no error, make fresh install, reflash Android,…

Minix neo t5. CoreELEC 19.4-Matrix_rc2. Single boot. There is no android.

  • CoreELEC 19.4-Matrix_rc2 - booted from SD card or USB flash drive - restart loop
  • CoreELEC 19.4-Matrix_rc1 - booted from SD card or USB flash drive - OK
  • CoreELEC 19.4-Matrix_rc1 - booted from SD card or USB Flash drive, auto upgrade 19.4-Matrix_rc2 (everything on the SD card) - restart loop
I am not able to upload CoreElec to TVBOX.
  • CoreELEC 19.4-Matrix_rc1 without internet connection to TVBOX (not auto upgrade), boot OK, kodi OK
  • Upgrade to RC2 version - restart loop
  • CoreELEC 19.4-Matrix_nightly builds - booted from SD card or USB flash drive - restart loop

Yes I tried both, nothing better

In this case please execute dispinfo when you see black screen and also dmesg|paste and send both links. May be something visible there.

Before playing dispinfo
http://ix.io/3OTH
then
After playing with black screen dispinfo
http://ix.io/3OTI
dmesg|paste
http://ix.io/3OTJ

Do you want something at the same time it’s playing?

Will check tomorrow. I think no

@Piter

It’s confirmed working, some tools are changed in the release what are not compatible anymore.
Newest software isn’t every time the best software…

Since update 19.3 => 19.4 RC2 BL301 features aren’t working correctly on my Ugoos AM6plus.

I need BL301 to have better control over my power IR command. However, when I use this, I’m unable to power up the device with the power button. Therefor, I needed to add the line gpiopower=502 to my config.ini. This worked great, but stopped working after the update, i.e., I’m unable to power up the device with the power button. Revert to 19.3 fixed it.

Try nightly build
