CoreELEC 19.4-Matrix_rc2 Discussion

@oastra, your x2 issue with DI content should be fixed in current nightly.

It works ! , many thanks for the support

Hello,
update to latest ver.19.4-Matrix_rc2 from 19.3 (odroid N2)
Now no remote control.
I use Amremote with remote.conf file.
Any help ?

I use N2+ & 19.4 rc2:
when select AML-AUGESOUND, HDMI MULTI CH PCM & select speaker “7.1”
the input in avr pioneer set: “2.0” not “7.1”

this issue?
How do “7.1” speaker always work?

May be you mean AVR output set?

In kodi 2.0 or 7.1 is used only for multipcm, all passthrough audio AVR receives without changes.

AVR output set 7.1 ok
Question: Can the default setting always have 7.1 speakers for all pcm?

Ok I’ve done fresh install on new sd card
Here’s log : http://ix.io/3ONW

Thanks

I don’t understand what you mean…
If your use as output 5.1 or 7.1 system then you should select HDMI Multi Ch PCM and 7.1 setting.
If your output is 2.0 then you could use HDMI and 2.0 output.
All audio that goes via passthrough should correctly output by your receiver.
Only difference is how you receiver got an PCM or converted to PCM audio

Reboot and run this command in ssh console and then post url you get.

journalctl -l | paste

I also see this in dmesg

[ 21.511519@0]s meson-remote ff808040.meson-remote: invalid custom:0x2dd24db2
[ 21.511526@0]s meson-remote ff808040.meson-remote: cur_custom is nulll
[ 21.511528@0]s meson-remote ff808040.meson-remote: no valid key to handle

which usually should not be there.

Here is journalctl : http://ix.io/3OOQ

Everything looks ok to me

sync
reboot

Problem problem to switch off the unit, it immediately reboots

pls help

Strange, working in 19.3 and not working in 19.4 after update without changing anything. Am I the only one still using amremote ?

I’m sure there are others including me. But you are the only one with this issue so far.

Disable CEC. Then it will be ok, had the same.

Hi support,
I have an issue that make a black screen when start and/or stop video, mainly UHD.
Other users have the same see here, this is NOT solved, only a workaround is to change the HDMI input in the AVR and go back to CoreElec player.
In the test I played jellyfish 180mbps, had the black screen then “no input” from the TV. At the end it came back fine to the menu. You will find it due to the same repeated log lines. Note I tried a static disp_cap but nothing better.
Find the log: hastebin
Let me know if you need more info/tests
Thanks

Did you try to set Use 4:2:2 colour subsampling setting and reboot?
https://wiki.coreelec.org/coreelec:kodi_ce_sys_settings

My Minix T5 will not boot after the Matrix RC 2 update or fresh install of 20220112 Nightly.

The update/fresh install both load as normal, with text on screen confirming things, however
on the reboot part, the machine cannot pass the white Minix logo and times out to create
a loop of failed boot after failed boot.

I then went through the nightly archive and confirmed builds post and including the
rc 2 release all carry the issue.

Builds before RC 2 all update/fresh install correctly, which includes the Legacy Leah
build on the Downloads page.

I am using the nightly 20220107 without issue.

The V20 nightlies do something a little different. The T5 cannot read the sd card at all
and it goes straight to the loop I mentioned.

Thanks in advance.

Minix neo t5. CoreELEC 19.4-Matrix_rc2
I have the same problem.

  • restart loop
TVBOX is not usable. Previous versions are ok.
