BUT if I need to go into crap Android for for my subscription app to Berlin Philharmonic Digital Concert Hall using the boot from EMMC/NAND option, but when I return to CE 21 Kodi my BT no longer works.

Try this and let me know if it works.
If it works then maybe this should be added to CE image to automatically repair itself
