Nowhere, Amlogic-ng is only ARM userland, but kernel is same arm64.
Thanke for the quick reply. Out of ccuriosity: what is the difference then between Amloguc-ng and the nightly aarch64 image?
64bit userspace. I already have some addons that donāt like it.
On latest nightly, can confirm that P8 TS ST-SL playback has been fixed. Now the results are the same as my stable build tests, in addition with BDMV/ISO working via index.bdmv or the mpls file.
Are you using passthru with eARC or direct to reciever/soundbar?
Unfortunately, I only tested this by plugging it directly to TV (Fire TV Cube 2nd Gen ā Hisense U6GS). Iāve yet to try it out on my HT/receiver setup, which also has another Cube but runs on the stable build. Iāll update this thread when I try it out later.
If I remember correctly when connected directly to receiver DV didnāt trigger when FF/RW but triggers when connected directly to tv using eARC.
CE can display the menu, please see my operation, but it is a little complicated

On my HT setup: Cube 2nd Gen ā RZ50 ā LG C1, with audio passthrough enabled, on the latest nightly with emmc install mod. Tested on a FEL movieās BDMV folder with index.bdmv, DV triggers every FF/RW. No stutters were observed even after FF/RW, confirmed this when the āskipā counter never goes up in player debug info. This was also accessed from an SMB share over wifi.
Does the movie being in an ISO file compared to being in an extracted folder matter in this scenario? In any case, we have different devices with different SoC so Iām not sure, maybe the difference is there? Even if we use the same generic -ng buildā¦
For the Black Panther menu test I have noticed that if you donāt touch anything on the black screen, it will eventually play the menu (after 5-10 minutes or so).
But going to video settings and choosing the video track (even though there is only one), will also show the menu like can be seen in your video.
Do you have any mkv fel movies to test with?
I install Android kodinerds and there is also a menu ![]()
But not in DV dual layer ![]()
There is no major problem with CE, just press the remote control a few more times
Any idea why DV triggers when FF/RW or changing chapters while using passthru?
kodi log
Yes I tried some movies on MKV format. For FEL testing in particular, I used MI: Rogue Nation.
I would say MKV is the least problematic of the formats I tried. Both stable and nightly had no problems with P7 FEL, P8 and P5.
Latest nightly 20241009 produces huge logging committed to kodi.log.
Right after boot its already 54Mb+
Thank you for the information.
Very sorry about this. Had a look. Short story, very local issue. 'Scuse the noise
