xhci-hcd driver in linux kernel 4.9 (CE-NG) may cause disconnects for CE USB drive when reading from /storage at high speeds, requiring reboot. Problem not present in CE-NE.
Workaround: access media over the network in CE-NG, do not rely on /storage to play higher bitrate video (e.g.: DV FEL UHD iso).
ALso reproduced just trying to watch BD iso from /storage. Hangs.
I only stream my files now. I use UPNP back to an Portable HD connected to my network. (Router and/or NUC)
Sold my am6b+ and bought ugoos sk1. Still on the way here to Europe so I canāt test it.

Looks like the latest update broke some IR stuff. The EPG button on my Sony remote (RMF-TX800U) is no longer recognized. Had this mapped to open the context menu. Tried re-installing Keymap Editor hoping that would fix the issue.
What would be the point of running NG if you donāt care about DV P7 FEL? IMO itās the only reason that may make it worth keeping it alive.
But the S928X isnāt supported by the NG kernel.

Have my old s905x4 running nightly NO and some of my addons I use are not compatible yetā¦
Hope they will get updated in future.
Also as said in other thread my am6b with NG uses less processing power in same conditions than NOā¦ Resulting in more snappy UIā¦
If I have to Iāll use NO when sk1 arrive cause I really want hdr to DV conversionā¦
NO does seem to be a little more memory-hungry, but my take on this is if the system has the resourses, why not use it instead of avoiding using system resources. Maybe I am simple, but I like it that way
it should be a bit hungrier at least due the fact that itās 64-bit userspace now compared to 32-bit in NG, but it should be a complete non-issue on 4GB devices (and 2GB in most use-cases).

Iām having issues with more unusual PCM channel mappings on an AM6B+ box with recent nightlies.
2.0, 3.1, 4.1, 5.1 and 7.1 work. 3.0, 4.0, 5.0 and 7.0 playback with the wrong mapping. @Joe_90 Mentioned a similar issue a few months back in one of the previous threadsā¦ Is there a known workaround?
Only 2.0 and 7.1 configurations are actually supported by our kernel.
You can use 21.2 NE.

Will you ever be porting vs10 code in to it? 
Unlikely. But as far as I recall, thereās no VS10 code in 21.2NG either.

Someone could do what Frtitch did for Kodi Android and just open 6 channels where no of channels > 2. That code was added about 12 months or so ago for all the quadraphonic uses out there in Kodi land.
There were literally thousands of albums released in quad, even Pink Floyd still release quad mixes on blu-ray.
