Now all that’s missing is ‘Auro 3D’ from the flags.
There are plenty of movies available in this audio format.
It would be great if you could add it ?
Nice work everyone involved!
Are the crashes in the middle of video playback (with dovi?) still happening? I had one a few days ago but didn’t upload log since I’ve seen that others already done that (and I was in bed too tired).
You can always try and see.
I noticed this in the nightlies as well and it’s still happening in beta 1. Artwork loads really slowly. When I scan a new movie, the poster and fanart can take a while to show up. Also, if I try to change the poster or fanart for an existing movie, the artwork choices take a long time to load. This wasn’t an issue on 21.3, where artwork would usually load within a second or two.
Internet Speed: 300mbps
Speed does not mean the availability of the resource from which the content is downloaded.
I went back and tested again by reinstalling ce-ng 21.3 and artwork loads and populates much faster there. I also noticed that in Beta 1 and nightlies, movie scanning sat on “scanning movies using tmdb python” for around 15 mins before it actually started scanning any movies, which I don’t see on 21.3.
Is it 20260624? I cant find a direct linky ![]()
same place they’ve always been : CoreELEC nightly builds
Thanks :). I thought it was 20260624 as above all good.
I just thought it might say Beta 1 somewhere.
Here:
For AM6B+, which version is more recommended, this beta1 version or the current Nightly version?
The current nightly version always has new features, and releases are more stable. It’s up to you to decide.
Great job. AM9 Pro better than ever. Thank you CE Team

A post was merged into an existing topic: TinyPPI - Universal PlayerProcessInfo for CE 22
This is kodi issue. You need a skin that can processes that flag. Ask around in kodi forums
I’m running CoreELEC CE-NO on an Ugoos AM9 Pro (S928X) and noticed the 22.0-Piers_beta1 changelog explicitly excludes S928X from FEL support:
“Add support for Dolby Vision FEL on all licensed SoCs except S5, S928X”
Currently on my nightly build I’m using the patched dovi.ko module (5.15_2.6_dovi_patched_fix_fel.ko) for FEL Profile 7 playback and it works well.
My questions:
-
What is the specific reason S928X is excluded from FEL in this beta?
-
Is this a licensing issue, a technical limitation, or simply not implemented yet?
-
Is there a roadmap or timeline for S928X FEL support in CE 22?
-
Should I stay on nightlies for now if FEL is a priority?
Thanks for the work on beta1 — significant release
The ugoos am9 pro has a S905X5-J SOC. The am8 has has the S928X-J SOC.
