I’m not sure if mainstream implementation has this issue too, or not.

Works fine, you can pause/resume at any time. Mainstream version requests another session upon resuming, you can hear sound sync every time.

As routir said, there’s no issue, but since the implementation we have here is sort of a hack, it does not renew the session on resume. So if your session has timed out, you’ll be at the mercy of your iptv provider’s server behavior in regards to expired sessions.

But I am still able to pause/resume with old version of your addon, before mainstream stuff backported. Server is the same in both cases. What is different then? Does old implementation make request for another session after resume? You can’t assume provider is not going to invalidate session when you stop playback.

I have not test mainstream with that server though

Latest stable version. But Flussonic is not supported by default, need to convert playlist first to set catchup pattern for each channel.

I am sure I am able to pause/resume without any problems. Maybe some logs could clarify that?

As I said, nothing changed in the way media is handled. The only thing that’s different is how the url is converted into usable archive url.

As well as catchup-days=“7” catchup-type=“flussonic”

In the upstream version I set All channels support catchup using mode to disabled to make it work.

Maybe we should ask phunkyfish about the pause/play mechanism and implement similar feature into CoreELEC if possible.

Just got the answer from phunkyfish:

Pause and resume should just make a call to play the stream from the pause time when you hit play. All channels support catchup using mode should be disabled by default. It’s for users where they only have one type of catchup but it’s not set in the M3U so allows them to set a default.

This addon was originally based on IPTV Archive. Once CoreElec has a Matrix version you should just be able to use this. It will be quite difficult back port features though due to this being based on a different version of kodi and is a full inputstream implementation external to kodi which allows much more control and freedom to make niche changes.

The sessioning on the addon is whatever ffmpeg does. There is nothing specific to do with sessions built in the addon.

came back to update that XC works just fine here.
the “Play Programme” on EPG item select is not available on some skins (probably all except Estuary), but it can be found on (most) skins on the context menu.
I tested it here and it works fine, including skipping (which I previously thought wasn’t working) and pause/resume, on version 3.9.8.3.
(there’s an inconsistency between the content played and the EPG item, but I think it’s my providers fault.)

It won’t work, you need to convert playlist as mentioned earlier in this thread. Flussonic is not supported.

I know about the mono-{start}-3600 syntax, but that does not allow to go forward/rewind. Pause/resume works fine.

I am able to seek without any problems. CoreElec latest stable and pvrviptv archive from repo, Flussonic server

Anybody succeded with shift (siptv) protocol? Either this experimental build or mainstream iptv simple addon on nightly. In my case it always shows all channels have no archive when I load playlist and set archive type to siptv. No green dot and no archive.

I have a list with these settings for the archive

catchup-days=“5” catchup=“fs” catchup-source="?utc={utc}&lutc={lutc}"
(for this playlist i use " All channels support catchup using mode “Default” "
(this playlist has a token at the end)

which works in kodi 19 on android and windows
however it does not work on coreelec

I will need to check, but I think the current logic ignores catchup-source if catchup is provided.
Perhaps it needs to be the other way around.

buddy, hold on, i found an addon a few posts above which seems to work fine.
I’ll just check the list that works on the older version of the addon but it seems to be ok.

CoreELEC 9.2 (Kodi 18.x - Leia) with IPTV Archive support

This build includes a similar configuration to the Matrix addon, and should work in a similar way. You select Default to use the catchup defined in the m3u8 file, or select one of the archive types you want to force it to use that type. pvr.iptvarchive-3.9.8.3.zip (328.3 KB) I checked it with Custom and Shift options, and it works fine (make sure you restart kodi after making a change) Flussonic and Xtream Codes seems to work too, but I don’t have a FS/XC provider to test with.

I have problem and i don’t know why. I have CE 9.2.4.2 and latest version PVR IPTV Archive client.
Archive working but I cannot rewind or rewind while viewing archived material and can’t pause/play when watch tv.
I’ve plusxtv list.
Please help me! i heven’t idea what’s is wrong.
