As far as I can see both the soundbar and TV are more than capable. I explained several times the issue in the post. Problem came after update during setup. If you would have read everything thoroughly, you would’ve understood my dilemma. Setup & connections are fine as they are, so the only thing to try out is changing the cables, though I doubt they are at fault. Regardless I ordered new ones from different manufacturers. Worst case scenario, I’ll return them if I don’t need them.
I can give the Ugoos a try, before I start troubleshooting the TV/Soundbar setup.
It’s literally not since you can’t get DV on 2x Shield Pros to work; Am6b+ isn’t going to magically solve that. Your eARC setup is not right so stop blaming the cables or w/e.
Just read the entire post before making any assumptions. An Xbox SX and a Sony UBP-x800 2 works without any issues with the same setup. Moreover I already said that during setup I got image and sound on both Shields, but the problem came after the update (during the setup process). Furthermore this is not the topic to discuss this. My question was completely not relevant to your comment.

The AM6b+ works without any problems. I ended up returning the new ordered cables. I guess it magically solved that
Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone can help me. All of a sudden I can’t play dolbyvision files (shows as very pink video with incorrect colors). It was playing perfectly fine and the only thing I can think of is that it is related to the latest update? Is anyone else experiencing this problem and any way to fix it?
I have an AM6B+ and an LG C3 TV, as mentioned this was working perfectly fine and they still play fine on my old FireStick, but I can’t play them anymore on my CoreElec box.
EDIT: Oh, managed to fix it, somehow the display resolution had changed to 4096x2160. Not sure if I had done that by accident or it changed due to something else. Changed it back to 3840x2160
Hi, unfortunately I have not found a solution. I have found an alternative:
I bought the FritzRepeater wifi 6 and I connected it to the power outlet that is near Ugoos.
With the wifi of the repeater I do not have the same problem that I have with the direct wifi of the router (5530). This way I can also use the ethernet cable (gigabit) that the repeater offers.
Oh okay, that sounds like a good option. Anyway, I had a weird issue with my UPnP server for high bitrate playback through WiFi and when I changed the server, the issue got resolved.
May I ask which nightly you are using with your AM6B+ ? I am using the latest stable build and sometimes have to pause the movie to get the TrueHD soundtrack back in sync.
I recently had the Ugoos AM6B Plus and installed the CoreELEC-Amlogic-ng.arm-21.1.1-Omega_nightly_20241206-Generic.img.gz image on a micro SD card.
It worked at first, but there was a strange problem with USB/Bluetooth remote controls:
The Enter key and the Back key didn’t work!
Sometimes it worked, but then the next time I started the box it didn’t work again.
I had tried everything possible, once when I unplugged the network cable it worked after the next restart, so I thought it was somehow related to that (but it wasn’t like that, because later it didn’t work even with the network cable unplugged).
All USB ports were equally susceptible to the problem.
The problem did not occur with the original remote control.
Does anyone here use a USB/Bluetooth remote control with this box and have similar experiences or can it also work perfectly?
I’m only asking because I returned the box but am now considering buying it again. But that would only make sense for me if there was hope that I could also operate it with a USB/Bluetooth remote control.
I have the same problem, but with the Ugoos XQ4 Extra. I’ve only had it for a few days. Yesterday I noticed for the first time that a film was very pink in color (and the CoreELEC menu was suddenly pink too). I stopped the film, the CoreELEC menu was back to how it was before. I started the film again, the colors were normal! Let’s see how often that happens…
