Dolby Vision Profile, VS10, plus other info on skins

It looks like the average pq is not converted to nits. Is there RPU mastering display value available? I’m talking about source_pq (not L6)? And for some reason it says N/A for the BL.

The skin is definitely fine.

Then the values coming from code are wrong.

These are all available values. There are no other values that could be displayed…

But shouldn’t it say:

L1 Min/Max/Avg lum: all 3 values in nits (cd/m2)
L1 Min/Max/Avg PQ: all 3 values in PQ (not cd/m2) ?

can you also check cpm’s estuary skin if it shows the info how you think it should? (can grab it directly from GH).

btw, what happened with the “this post was flagged by the community” ?
I left for 20min and now came back to this)

Currently:
L1 Min/Max/Avg PQ: 233 | 157 | 47 cd/m²

Which one is better?
L1 Min/Max/Avg PQ: 233 | 157 | 47 PQ
L1 Min/Max/Avg PQ: 233 | 157 | 47 12-bit PQ

I’m not the big expert on this.
Please help me and i will correct it in the skin.

IMO The best would be this:

L1 Min/Avg/Max lum: 0.0003 | 10 | 1000 cd/m2
L1 Min/Avg/Max PQ: 12 | 1229 | 3079 PQ-12bit

Changed…
https://github.com/jamal2362/skin.arctic.zephyr.mod.cpm/archive/refs/heads/master.zip

Because N/A for the BL, something is wrong with the code then, not the skin.

interesting… I tried FEL/MEL samples and base layer was marked as present (mkv files using DVLL).
What container was your sample in? MKV or smth else? DV LL or STD?

Same here.
See that behavior the first time

maybe that’s a “benchmark” ISO and something is going on with the correct info retrieval for this format…

ST-DL MKV rip of the Spears And Munsil clip but I tried other files and it’s working correctly.

EDIT:, oh never mind, I just checked my SM clip and it’s a TS container… the other file that worked are indeed MKV

so I can install this master over the ver8 with my arctic zephire reloaded skin and my cpm v5?

or do I have to compile something first (impossible, my knowledge stops with install as zip via kodi GUI…

sorry! thanks!!

this skin update is only meant for a manually compiled build with post-A5 changes.

ok now the PQ line is correct but I’m still not seeing the AVG values in nits(cmd/m2), it says only: L1 Min/Max lum

PS: Season 02 of the show ‘‘Old Man’’ has frame by frame DV, pretty cool to see it in action

Ok then I hope CPM is reading this

i see in cpm’s skin a reference to “video.dovi.l1.avg.nits”
