Doing it from the beginning makes more sense, especially if you know it’s needed. I was pointing out that if you ran into a hash failure the information is there to fix it.
Personally I’d hash a trusted source myself anyway rather than trust the error.
When you user another font, the values displayed wrong maybe. Try use narrowed font, or stay in the default.
Its skin design, the skinners cannot made to match to all possible font.

Replying to my own question just in case someone else will have the same - so the issue with the clear logo not being displayed on video OSD was not due to skin - but due to Plex -Kodi integration. Once I have switched from Composite (old and unmaintained) to PKC the clear logo was displayed as intended.
Hi, is there anyway to turn off the Splash screen when Kodi boots to go directly to Home screen?
I know how to change it, but not how to completely skip it…
If you mean the splash screen from skin, you can turn that off the skin settings. I am not in front of CE right now, so I can not exactly say where, but should ne somewhere under general settings of the skin
