Hi, here is the estuary mod-v2 modded skin
Modded for the @cpm A5 build
See in the pictures…

Need install the kodinerds repo first, and install the estuary modv2 omega, for the skin dependencies.

Original skin for screenshots: here

There is two type of playerprocessinfo, when you use small osd, or not.

Added a direct button, to the video OSD, to toggle the small/full OSD mode.

Save to your hdd, enjoy.

PM4K and Plextuary maintainer here.

Thank you for the initial mod.

From now on, a separate skin for CPM users is maintained within the official PM4K Don’t Panic repository (serving PM4K for you guys; the Kodi repository for this is https://pm4k.eu). “Plextuary CPM” is the modified version of the Plextuary skin based on these changes from cpm’s aml-4.9-21.2-A5. It’s currently supported for Kodi 21/Omega only.

Edit: If you want to contribute/maintain this, I can add you as a contributor. Otherwise I’ll just merge changes whenever necessary (as in: someone notifies me that there’re changes).

Very glad to see this! Just updated to the this version a short time ago. Seems to be working great! Thanks for all you do!

Forgot: For PM4K to work properly with Plextuary CPM you’ll need at least 0.8.0-beta3.5b.

FYI, the Estuary Skin you point to in my repo is just the CE mainline Estuary.

Easier to keep that one in line, and have a separate skin with the additional stuff, which people can look and mod others from.

The additional details for my build are in another repo:

It is half repo / have WIP backup! lol, have tagged the A5 cut point.

One question on this specific feature, unrelated to cpm’s builds I suppose.

Is Kodi now capable of differentiating between Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby Digital Plus with Atmos? If so, I guess it’s due to Kodi updating ffmpeg in their nightlies.

Could you clarify? Thanks!

As an aside, all the awesome work on modded skins is in sore need of some sort of organization. Kinda hard to follow the constant development. But maybe it’s just me and I am not complaining, just an observation. Maybe different topics with an updated OP each?

Ah thanks. It should be fine™, though. I’ve only used those changes as a reference for which files to get from the skin.cpm.estuary.A5.zip file.

awesome!! many many thanks!!

one idea for the future if you like it…
kill the dark Grey box and player process info text - and reduce ocupacy to maybe 87% for the 4 boxes

The problem is that many movies have black bars at the top and bottom and if you look at Release 7, for example, it looks very strange. That’s why I opted for 100%. Besides, I only spend a few seconds in PlayerProcessInfo reading the information, so it’s not so tragic. I don’t leave it on all the time.

Hi @jamal2367 @frodo19

Are you experiencing any issues with Dolby Atmos (EAC3)?

I’m trying to integrate it on Arctic Fuse, but it’s still not displaying the correct information.

On one of my movies, when I select the audio language (French), it shows Dolby Atmos (EAC3) (6 channels), even though it’s actually DD+. But when I switch to the original version, which is really Atmos, then switch back to the French version, it now shows DD+.

On another movie with a similar setup (Dolby Atmos (EAC3) in the original version and DD+ in French), it displays the correct information.

No issue here, all truhd and eac3 atmos display correctly.

I just tried it on your Arctic Zephyr 2 - Resurrection (A5) skin, and the exact same problem occurs.

Here is the file that’s causing the issue:

When I start the movie in English, the Player Info shows Dolby Atmos (eac3) → My AV receiver shows Dolby Atmos.
Without closing the video, when I switch to the French audio (DD+ 5.1, second audio track), the Player Info shows Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 → My AV receiver shows DD+.

Everything works as expected so far, BUT…

When I start the video with the French audio track, the Player Info shows Dolby Atmos (eac3) → My AV receiver shows DD+.

To get the correct information when I start the video in French, here’s what I have to do:

• Start the video with the French audio track
• Switch the audio track to English
• Switch back to the French audio track to get the correct information in Player Info (Dolby Digital Plus 5.1).

Edit: The French audio track doesn’t have Dolby Atmos, only the English track does.

Guys I have a question regarding Player cache. Why Pcache goes down when I display player info but filling up when is closed. This only happens on higher bitrate movies it seems as when I play episodes this is not an issue.

It works correctly on the A5 version. I’m waiting to find a solution for Dolby Atmos (eac3) before releasing the A5 version of the interfaces.
