thanks shanti it worked but it has an issue i config my controller and its working in the main menu but when i start any game the controller is not working at all even the ir is working with coreelec but in the emulator is not working even the shutdown button of the ir

When you say “any game” what game specifically?

So, my N2 arrived in the mail today. Will there be Sx05RE (the Addon, not EmuELEC) support for it?

Yes, its ready but there are still a few problems with the frame buffer that need some workarounds that I haven’t implemented in the Add-on version because I don´t have time do all if this alone anymore 
But it will be available when I find the time to implement those workarounds.
I don’t know how else to explain it, but I need logs to be able to help you, otherwise I have no idea what is going on.
It sort of runs on the n2 but seems to hang when going back to the rom selection screen.
So need to reboot the box.

No worries, my intent is not to set the N2 up right away. My C2 config is working well, and I know the N2 is still new hardware, so I’m expecting a couple of months until the wrinkles are ironed out.
I’d offer to help out, but my coding abilities lie in scripting languages more than bare-metal stuff.
That is the problem, it is not really hanging. the Framebuffer does not “rewrite” the screen so you see the old image apparently frozen, you can still control it and even launch another game.

provide as MUCH information as possible, Box model, dmesg log, etc, etc.
but BEFORE asking for help AT LEAST you need to go to pastebin.com and post all of this files if they are available

Then post the pastebin url and explain your problem, without logs I will not be answering any help request, I get too many and its hard to focus on all of them without the required information, if you can’t take time to do this, then I won´t take time to help you, easy as that.

Try using /storage/roms/arcade instead of advmame, I am not sure Advmame supports the wii controller

Quick question: Does Reicast work on the C2? I’m finding conflicting info online as to whether it does or not.
@shanti can you write which is the order to give full access of read and write to the /storage directory?
I remember that it was something like chmod 777 or something. Can you tell me for sure…
