I have a full version of Retrocake on my Windows 10 PC so all I do is share the E:\retrocake\roms folder on my pc to /storage/roms on my s905x CE internal install.
This guide was very helpful :

Hello, Yesterday I have installed the new version untested and all systems run well. The only problem that I found was the audio in pre videos of emulationstation didn’t work.
Tested in Mecook KI Pro / Coreelec 9.0.3
Thank you
Hi does amiberry work with the addon only ? I have it working on emuelec but the addon it fails to start
I noticed the no audio on videos, but still haven’t found a solution
You have to put the correct bios of Amiga in the kickstarts folder, the thing that works for me is delete this folder on Amiberry (is hidden folder) and make the directory again and put the correct bios, if you search on google typing amiberry bios you have the solution.
Remember after adjust the screen size.
Ok a bit closer on my wetek play 2. From the logs I get
“amiberry: error while loading shared libraries: libSDL2-2.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory”
It works fine on emuelec btw
Ok, sorry You have it working fine on EmuELEC standalone, but not in the Addon. I can’t help you there.
Can you try by removing . /etc/profile
from amiberry.start
?
I’m a bit confused as to which version to use on CE.9.0.3 on my N2, either 2.5.4 dated 31.07.2019 or 2.6 dated 29.07.2019.
I believe it’s the first (2.5.4) as 2.6 only works on the nightlies right now.
Thought so too, and 2.5.4 works OK for me on CE.9.0.3
Sorry for the confusion, I haven’t really released 2.6 as I am waiting for the next official CE release. But in short the add-on version works as follows:
- 2.5.4 for CE 9.0.3 or below
- 2.6 for nightlies & (hopefully) above
So the actual addon doesn’t work in nighties?
is there a repo for auto update ? (Addon Version)
And is there an Nintendo DS Emu ?
2.6 addon works with nightlies.
DS emulator cores :
https://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/linux/armhf/latest/
you have both Desmume2015 and Desmume . I havent tried them…let us know if you get them working.
i use only latest nightlies… but i cant find a download link for 2.6 addon

Its under “Addon”
No repo yet, but one is soon to come I just need to figure out how to actually create it
