That would be the logical conclusion. I’m sure it worked before. The Xbox 360 receiver that’s designed for Windows definitely worked but I haven’t tried that again.
I’m not savvy enough with Linux to check if the driver is installed, so any help there would be appreciated.
As you can see v3.6 is there and should be considered stable, there is also a v3.7 pre-release which is more up to par with the emulators, but I have not been able to test. so install 3.6 if you just want to play and 3.7 if you want to help ironing out bugs
As always, remember installation takes a few minutes, and it is always suggested to remove the old add-on
Unfortunately the shaders are never going to work properly on the add-on version (at least not that I know of), it’s a kernel issue. I use a patch on the standalone to revert a change that CE has for alpha channels which is needed by Kodi.
Is it possible to ignore EmulationStation and launch RetroArch directly? I kinda don’t like having frontend to a frontend. Since RetroArch is a reference implementation its interface should contain everything that is needed to run games, right? Is EmulationStation only an eye candy or is there additional purpose to it?
