Hello again! @shanti Thank you very much for this new emuelec addon 3.5.
I have been using it for a while and so far I see
two things: when I get in the Emuelec Settings and I try to change a setting or go back it crashes and Emuelec quits.
I attach a photo: if I go back or change any setting it quits.
In reicast emulator the controller doesn’t work. In the rest of the emulators works perfectly when I config the controller input. I’m using a ps3 controller.
There are some emulators with no emulators to choose so there is no way we can leave any with no blanks. When you have time, could you fix that?
Thanks for the great work you are doing.
I have uploaded a new test version that hopefully has all these bugs fixed, its based on the same 3.5 version so it has not changed much but I didn’t had time to properly test it, if you want to test it, I would recommend you do so in a clean install since I am not 100% sure what bugs are new
Hi @shanti thanks for your hard work! Got one question though - I tried my best but can’t work it out.
I’m using a xiaomi game pad with emuelec and when I used the standalone version (using sd card) it works fine, I can return to the emu menu by clicking the home button (which i configured as the hotkey) however when I’m in kodi add on mode, it doesn’t work.
So when I got in the actual games, the hotkey doesn’t work anymore, also the gamepads are not configured as it should - the analog L stick click becomes ‘start’ in megadrive.
Oh I should mention I’m using a x96 max plus (s905x3 + 4G ram + 64G storage).
You have to put at least one game in correct subfolder in storage/roms/subfolder directory to skip this error.
For example “Super Mario 64.n64” game goes to storage/roms/n64 folder.
‘(If this message was not here when you downloaded the 3.5 version, you need to download it again as a bug was fixed that affected performance, be sure to use the “reset emuelec script and binaries to default” option on the danger zone under the emuelec menu after upgrading)’
This warning is on EmuElec standalone version; don’t see it anywhere for addon-louncher version…
Btw, I have a newer 3.5 addon version. Your link is for the version dated 5th of April, and I have newer one from 12th of May.
Is it possible to make the Odroid N2 S/PDIF audio output working in EmuELEC? I have version 3.6, but still no sound. At startup of N2 S/PDIF is active, when booting into EmuELEC the S/PDIF LED extinguishes…
