Thanks for all the effort getting this working.

Using it on the SK4 I’m seeing quite a few skipped frames on some FEL samples. Such as the Power Rangers credits sample among others.

Is this a known issue? Happy to provide logs etc if that will be useful.

Will this new FEL 22 support LLDV Player Led mode?

This patched dovi.ko file… what platform is it for? Is it good for S922X on AM6B+? Wasn’t a different file needed for every SoC?

The dovi.ko is compatible with several platforms.
Works without any problem on S905X4, S922X, S905X5M, S905X5-J.

Clean install with latest NO nightly on Ugoos AM9 Pro. Used the recommended patched dovi.ko.

FEL works, but the DoVi L5 issue is still the same: if L5 is set to anything higher than 0-0, the value set will be cropped off of the UI.

I don’t fully understand what you’re asking but I’ll try to answer. As always, it’s not a choice to support or not support S928X-J, technically, at the moment, it’s not possible. Regarding S928X, of course it’s not supported, it’s not DV licensed.

That’s what L5 does, it either crops or dims the areas specified (depending on your TV) including the OSD.

Or are you are requesting the feature to dynamicly set L5 to 0 when the OSD/seek bar is visible?

i am sorry being annoying….will there be FEL support on s928x-j?

if not, is that because of kernel version and proper dovi.ko for it?

because i have ugoos am8 with s928x-j and want to know if i can play FEL with it, in CE-NO22….

We don’t know, probably not. As I said it’s not a choice. The S928X-J is just different.

If that‘s how it works e.g. on AVDVP builds then yes. You can use L5 and access OSD.

Almost all UHD-BluRay remuxes have active L5. The only way to achieve perfect black bars with 2160p remuxes is to use L5. I’m surprised no one really mentions this for CE-NO. It’s quite a problem that you can’t see and therefore can’t use the UI/OSD while watching a simple UHD-BluRay remux with DoVi.

I remember this being an issue in CE-NG also (though it works fine in the forks) but does the FEL TEST file (as seen here and here) still freeze after “Level 2 *this will work only on CMV2.9 hardware” on CE-NO for anyone else?

At least on 22.0-Piers_nightly_20260508, it still freezes at that part. Was wondering if others experienced the same.

Try out the latest nightly build. If the problem occurs again, it would be helpful for the devs to have logs. There’s no point in just posting here without logs.

VC-1 is fixed in the todays nightly. Great :grin:

Hi , I have to rename the file to : Dovi.ko ? or leave it how is from the server ?
