Excuse me, if I flash the latest version with dovi.ko FEL, on an SDR TV, do I need to set it up manually to play FEL content, or is FEL not supported on SDR TVs at all?
Rename it to dovi.ko (no caps) and put it in /storage/.config (or ConfigFiles if you’re using the SMB share to access CE).

No Women , maybe I did somthing wrong, drom the Device _Tree I took the Dtb: s6_s905x5_ugoos_am9_pro.dtb.
Is a another file :s7d_s905x5m_4g_1gbit.dtb, wichone should I use?.
is correct but you should rename it dtb.img and press enter.

If that’s your link, you should update my V3 FEL test to V4, since it fixes the freeze issues after L1.
The problem is that some FEL videos will freeze near the end, so I doubled the file length as a workaround so it freezes later. It can still properly test FEL + L1 + L2 + L8 + L5.
btw, the woman test file cannot properly test the RPU, and that flash you see is just a buggy reaction to the RPU reshaping metadata. That will even happen on a player that can’t process the dynamic metadata at all, such as MPC on PC.

I’m fairly new to CoreELEC, so apologies if I’ve missed something obvious or described this wrong—still learning!
I just installed CoreELEC 22 on my Ugoos AM6B+. Right after the initial setup, every reboot showed a warning popup about needing to update the Linux kernel. To fix that, I copied the dovi.ko file into the .config folder (as per some guides I found), and now the warning no longer appears on boot. However, Dolby Vision still doesn’t work. Tested with woman file via Kodi.
Setup details:
Device: Ugoos AM6B+
CoreELEC version: 22 (fresh install on internal SD)
Display: maDVR Envy processor + JVC NZ700
No errors in logs that I can spot. Any ideas what I’m doing wrong? Is there a specific kernel update or config tweak needed for DV on this box with CE22? Or did I mess up the dovi.ko step?

Hi, yesterday I installed 507 build (updated today to 509) and used latest dovi.co file. FEL forks perfectly, however I didn’t tried to watch whole movie, just part, seek works great, audio sync is perfect also.
But, I have problem with sdr to hdr conversion. sdr to dv works perfectly, but I never like that conversion, since colors on my tv looks off (too much yellow and grey)… Anyway, when I put sdr to hdr tonemapping, after a reboot I tried some sdr material, and got black screen. I forgot to mention that I use 2160p with disable gui scaling. I got black screen on sdr and hdr stuff, but on dv it works. I tried to reboot, and its the same. So, I tried to lower resolution of gui, and put 1080p and in that case, sdr to hdr works, hdr works, dv works, but when I play dv materijal, and after close the video, I got screwed up gui, colors off, mostly in blue… and after that I can only play dv material. sdr, hdr looks off, like gui (I can screenshot it if you guys need it). So, is this bug, or something I haven’t install like it suppost to be?
Always post logs, please. That’s the only way we can understand what’s happening.

After many tests and reboot, I’ve found the error.
The same movie that show SDR on Video source type , I just need to open 2nd time , to change the SDR to Dolby Vision.
This not change the color only the SDR to Dolby Vision, I’ve look over and over to see any difernce on SDR appear, is the same with Dolby Vision appear.
And I provide screenshot of screen after I close DV file in hdr gui.
just want to confirm update steps moving from CE 21.3 on an AM6B+. Copy the new dovi.ko to /storage/.config and download the nightly CE 22 .tar file and update? Or do I need to do a full re-install?
Need to do a full clean install.

Tested the latest NO nightly(20260509) with the new dovi.ko on Fire TV Cube 2nd gen (S922z) and can confirm that DV FEL playback is working.
is it possible to add VSVDB injection? to be able to playback DV on non DV panels, Thank you!
