FEL - Amlogic NO support

Please use this thread to discuss and debug the newly arrived support for FEL in Amlogic NO.

For FEL support CORRECT dovi.ko module must be used: download it from FEL - Amlogic NO support - #3 by vpeter

doesn’t have FEL support:
S5 - S928X
T7 - A311D2

All “FEL is not working.. What is wrong…” question without logs or log snippets will be ignored.

I’ve updated to the latest build and run the FEL test video but I don’t see the camera woman. Could I perhaps have the wrong dovi.ko? AM9 Pro → Sony X90K

My dmesg says:

Thanks to the CE team; everything is working fine with the FEL videos, the software provided today, and the 5.15_2.6_dovi_patched.ko file.

Installed the updated files an now the lady with the camera is showing at the 80 second mark. Using the Ugoos AM9 pro.

I cant get it to work on ugoos sk1. I cant see the lady at 80s mark. I am using new patched dovi.ko

It’s not supposed to work on SK1 as it’s based on the S928X SoC for which FEL is not working (at least for now, devs are trying, but it’s not guaranteed).

The initial tests are really promising. FEL works very well on my S922X. I’ll be testing this soon on my new AM9 Pro with the S905X5-J when it’s arrived.

The post refers to the SOCs that aren’t supported so you can count that all the other licensed ones are.

Hi, I cannt manage to install CoreElec into internal memory, I boot from Sd card, do you have any help?

Tested on homatics box r 4k plus and Ugoos AM9 Pro. VC1 codec no longer working. Only audio and black screen. Pity. Thanks again CE Team
