I just changed some SM settings on my S90C to get 1750 nits and would need to change the HDR InfoFrame Payload, would you mind give me the new correct one? Thank you

will this work with TV Led dv?

Well 3 parts to the answer - 1) on cpm’s version you only get a choice on the UI to choose the HDR InfoFrame Metadata when you select Player-Led (HDR). 2) If you are sending this payload through another way (not cpm’s build) that allows you to send a HDR InfoFrame Metadata payload then this specific payload is missing the front-end part of the InfoFrame that includes among other things the EOTF byte because based on cpm’s specs/requirements I designed this payload generator/calculator specifically for cpm’s software, so it will not work. 3) If you get a full and complete HDR InfoFrame Metadata payload a different way - for example the HD Fury Vertex 2 generated one (corrected appropriately for your device) and send it to a TV Led DV device in theory it should not work since this is part of HDR10 and not DV but I have seen stranger things happen.

Thank you for taking the time to respond, much appreciated.

Would you please point me in the right direction as to the best settings for my setup, am6b, LG G4 TV for DV PQ?

Since you have a LG G4 TV which is full Display-Led (DV-Std) as you have selected correctly, I would switch off the Dolby VSVDB settings. That would mean that CE cpm’s software would read your TV’s EDID including the VSVDB block and set all values correctly, no need for you to guess anything. The only time you need to set those values is normally when you have a HDR10 (non-DV) sink (display). Or if you want to force values outside our TVs original values to see if you get any improvements but I would not recommend since you have to have calibration equipment to even to start doing it correctly.

Why are you even using CPM’s build if you have a G4?

Thank you so much.

to get more options into am6b

EDIT - Sorry, I was wrong.

You are so wrong, and maybe confused, but @cpm version is for all display types. Especially for LG Oleds and such, that don’t support HDR10+

Apologies, I stand corrected. Didn’t think it would actually display HDR10+ with the dynamic metadata correctly on an LG. Great for people with a lot of HDR10+ content for sure.

Guys, how do you have all this hdr options?
I have an lg cx, with am6b with the laat nightly version, running fel dolby vision movies…
However it got my attention this info about hdr10+ to be converted to dolby vision 8.1…
How do I activate it? Any one to help me?

you need to use CPM version, disable auto update in Coreelec first as you can’t use the nightlies, then put this file in update folder and reboot.

Thank you so much.
If I want to go back to coreelec nightly version, i need just to turn on the updates and thats it correct?

yeah, but you want to use CPM version, to find CPM options go to settings, system, coreelec.
