Help, support CPM build

Something wrong with your installation; A10 works perfectly with A10.cpm.skin on my AM6B+, Nokia 8010 and Kinhank G1. No need whatsoever to revert to any former version.

hi everyone!
I am a long time user of LE, starting from Minix X8-H I believe, switching to CE for a Dune HD Homatics Box R 4K Plus
the transition was natural: CE-NE, CE-NG and now CE-NG+CPM A10 and I can say I am impressed by any of them

but there is one thing I could not find an answer for: why the UI is displayed by default in DV in CPM and not SDR8?
is there any way to revert it to SDR, please? usually I set it to 1080p, 60Hz with refresh rate adjust on start/stop
my TV is DV/HDR10+ compatible

thank you,
imeDB

What build are you testing?
I recently switched to cpm A10 Final Build

With default Estuary or cpm Estuary skin on Expert settings

Should see

Buffer mide
Memory size
Read Factor
Chunk size

***Also checked on Tanix box running latent nightly NO 5.15.119

Is there too

*** Edit to clarify The New Order Nightly Build iam testing is from 2024 09 04.
So its quite possible on Latest Nightly CoreELEC Builds
These settings have been removed/changed.

Yeah I’m on the same builds, on Ugoos AM6B Plus.

The memory size only goes down to 16mb, that was one of my queries but mainly I wanted a bit more info in regards to this dynamic cache I read about.

You should set Dolby Vision to On demand in the System → CoreELEC menu.

I also had this on the homatics box and the solution for me was that “HDR Auto” had been disabled on android tv, and it kept DV mode on even when I booted to CE.

thank you very much, I missed that
now everything looks great!

Apologies. What is the “Convert DV p7 to p7 mel or 8.1” option for. I did a search on this setting and didn’t come up with concrete answers.

You can actually see, what happen with the p7 fel movie , when you use standard CoreElec without fel support.

So this is for converted p7 fel to mel? Then why not say so?

Hello, I am trying to install cpm on a kinhang g1 that has coreelec 21 ng and download the .tar cpma10 but it gives me an extraction error. I have tried several times, I put it by USB in the coreelec update folder, I restart and it tries but it always fails , any help? What am I doing wrong?

I’ve had a similar problem when the color space setting was DC3 instead of BT2020. change it to BT2020 and it may be the solution. I am using Ugoos AM6B+ and Samsung S90C just for reference.

Try to install 21.1.1-ng nightly first, then put cpm A10 in update folder.

Was there more than one A10 version? Why wasn’t it A11 or A10a or something to let us know?

My A10 is going black screen after some fast forward or rewinds.

That’s not a cpm issue. I don’t have any cpm build installed and I get it too

Reference to Final Build should read as
Last Build for awhile.
Taking a break

Sorry for confusion

Go back to previous cpm builds and test if issue persists.

I used the A5 for quite some time without issues, then jumped right to A10.

Currently testing Portisch audio sync image on the Ugoos Box

I was getting black screen with a10 when I was not with a09. So I went back to a09 and all is fine again.

Hi, new (and very confused) user here.

I have tried to install CoreElec with the CMP build through to dual boot on my AM6B+, however, whilst working great in some instances, I seem to be getting a green tint when playing Dolby Vision content.

Hence, I would like to start the installation process again from scratch and see if I can get it right. My research showed me that I could use the ceemmc tool to remove CoreElec all together (and get back to the stock android image), however, I am struggling to do so. I did the following:

CoreELEC:~ # ceemmc -x

Starting CoreELEC eMMC installation tool...

System is not supported: g12b_s922x_ugoos_am6b!

There is NO official support by Team CoreELEC
if you continue to run this tool!
Continue? [y]: y

eMMC size: 0x000747c00000 [32GB]

Existing CoreELEC installation found on eMMC

[1] Make a copy of current CoreELEC installation on eMMC to current used SD or USB device

Please choose one option? [1]:

Firstly, I am seeing that ‘System is not supported: g12b_s922x_ugoos_am6b!’, which is surprising as I thought a large part of the community here was build around the AM6B+. Is this indicating that I don’t have an AM6B+, and a knock off instead?

Secondly, I was expecting to see an option here to remove the CoreElec image from the emmc - but it is not there… What am I doing wrong?

Alternatively, do I need to approach this from a different angle and just wipe the box and start again? Including installing android first. If this is the case, can anyone point a relative noob in the right direction?

That’s a standard disclaimer msg in all devices, you can still go ahead and remove it. Alternatively you can use the guide on ugoos website to reinstall android.
