Hey there,
For quite a while now, my coreelec install will stick to the top left of the screen whenever the GUI is in 3840x2160 OR i’m playing a 4k tv show or movie.
I set the GUI to 1920x1080 and it seems to work, but then when i watch anything higher than 1080p it seems to just do the same gui scaling issue. The actual content will be full screen, but everything is still in the top left.
I decided to just reinstall coreelec as i saw online that the way to fix it was reset your guisettings.xml file and all that fun stuff but it didn’t end up working. Even on a fresh install, this same issue crops up.
I was using this guide and was installing coreelec 21.
I gave coreelec 20 a go, and that seems to fix my issues, but i’d rather use the latest version than rely on an outdated stable version. Anybody know if this is a common issue or if it’s just some iffy hardware.
